2:55 am	scary night For any of you that know Shelby, she gave us all a scare tonight. She apparently decided to ride her bike down a steepgrass bank and ended up flipping the bike because her feet didn't reach the ground, She landed on the brake handle and punched a hole in her side. So off to the emergency room she went. We knew she'd need stiches but once she got there they decided to do a cat scan and after that surgery. They were concerned that she may have punctured the small intestines as well, pluss the catscan showed something small inbedded in the wound.the surgery went well, the intestines were not affected. But now in addition to that puncture she has a 2 or so inch incision below her belly botton and a drainage tube in the puncture. needless to say she will be in the hospital till at least monday.  I left there just a little bit ago,SHe's pretty doped up and sleeping now, so I'll go visit tomorrow. For now I'm going to sleep and be very thankful it all turned out mostly ok. (Comment on this)

4:06 pm	Had an ultrasound today, and although the little kiddo wouldn't cooperate the majority of the time, we're pretty sure it's a boy. He had his legs up straight towards his head and crossed in front of his face, but finally moved just long enough to get a peek. I'll have another one done at my next appointment in 3 weeks or so, because they couldn't get all the pics they needed of the cord and heart and stuff. Aaron is very happy, because he really wanted a boy I think. We'll name him Connor Michael. Classes are going well, i'm making very high grades so far, and hope it will continue so maybe i can get a scholarship. I really hate money, or rather the lack thereof. 9:51 pm	high time for an update Wow things have been changing pretty fast for me over the last month or so. I am now working in the daylight again, though only part time. Started classes for getting a certified medical assistant degree last monday. Two of them I like ok, but one is sorta like pulling teeth. Aaron and I have a baby on the way, due in the last of august. Clothing is becoming difficult. I've reached the point where my normal stuff won't fit  and maternity stuff is still too big mostly. There also happens to be a serious lack of punk clothing in maternity sizes which is depressing. I mean are only straight laced women supposed to have babies? I lost close to 10 lbs in the first 3 months with all the morning ( ha ha, like it was just then) sickness. But that's over now, thankfully. Today i had the biggest change though, cut my hair way short. it had been down to my butt, but is now short , spiky and raspberry/ black chunked with bangs down to my nose. I really really love it. We'll post pics soon.  Now I just need a new tattoo.... (1 Comment |Comment on this)

2:13 pm	New Years Eve Adventure New Years Eve turned out to be somewhat fun without partying.Aaaron and I decided to Splurge and go out to dinner. We went to the Olivia Garden, arriving about 15 minutes till closing. We Ordered appatizers and soup and some four cheese tortilini with shrimp. About half way through the bowls of soup the power went out. After a few minutes of slight kaos the server brought a little plate with 2 birthday candles stuck to it for light to the few of us who braved the dark and kept eating, most people just left. I thought it was kinda fun, our electricity goes out every time the wind blows wrong so it's no big deal to me. The cooks did manage to get our appetizers out of the oven done, and since we couldn't get the entree we ordered they offered us what they had while it was still warm. Aaron had spagetti and I had alfredo. The actual pasta dishes, and some soup we ended up taking home because we were full. So we had olivia garden for breakfast new years day and all for free. With no power they had to just let people go without payment. I'd say it was a rather nice, cheap and tasty way to start off the new year. (Comment on this)
